On the THE ranking, the UW is fourth among U.S. public institutions 鈥� behind UCLA, UC Berkeley and the University of Michigan.
, in its first college rankings, listed schools that 鈥減ay off the most鈥� 鈥� both public and private. These are institutions that provide students the highest average salaries for their tuition dollars. The UW and UW Bothell were ranked Nos. 1 and 2, respectively, on the list of public schools.
