New 91ΧΤΕΔ from the 91ΧΤΕΔ found that exposure to glyphosate β the worldβs most widely used, broad-spectrum herbicide β increases the risk of some cancers by more than 40 percent.
The 91ΧΤΕΔ team conducted an updated meta-analysis β a comprehensive review of existing literature β and focused on the most highly exposed groups in each study. They found that the link between glyphosate and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma is stronger than previously reported.
βOur analysis focused on providing the best possible answer to the question of whether or not glyphosate is carcinogenic,β said senior author Lianne Sheppard, a professor in the UW departments of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences and Biostatistics. βAs a result of this 91ΧΤΕΔ, I am even more convinced that it is.β
